Yoshino, Japan

I hiked to the beautiful town of Yoshino, nestled into the mountains, embellished with breathtaking shrines and temples. The town’s historical 1,300 year old temple was open that day and I took the day to meditate alongside the monks. I took this shot of the peaceful scenery when I left. Being the off-season, the town was vacant and I spent hours roaming the clean and quiet streets with my camera.
